The Sunsetter is built on an aluminium frame covered with a waterproof vinyl canvas that has a lifespan of 8 to 10 years. Only mild, non-abrasive dish soap diluted in a large quantity of water should be used for cleaning the canvas. The retractable Sunsetter awning should not be used when winds are over 40 km/hr or in heavy rain. In winter, it remains installed but should be closed and protected with its vinyl cover.
