The
Riviera is built
on an extruded aluminium frame coated
with baked-on enamel paint (white
or beige) that will neither rust nor
peel. The acrylic canvas has a lifespan
of 8 to 10 years and must be removed
every year before the first snowfall.
Thanks to the Flash System,
our patented, non-lacing fastening
system, it only takes a few minutes
to remove the canvas. Although the
aluminium frame remains in place,
curtains, screens and doors should
be removed and stored for the winter.
The canvas will need to be cleaned
and treated for waterproofing after
5 years.
It is
important to remove the canvas and
other components only once they are
thoroughly dry—six hours in
the sun should be enough to dry them.
Storing a canvas or its components
while still damp will promote mould
and damage canvas properties.
